Who we are
web-area.dev is run by the web-area team. For any questions about your data, email hello@web-area.dev or message @pushtogit on Telegram.
What we collect
Only what you send us yourself, plus a minimum of technical data:
- Request form: your name, email or Telegram, subject and message.
- Site chat: your messages and, if you leave them, your name and contact. Also the page you started the conversation from.
- Spam protection: instead of your IP address we store a hash of it — the address can't be recovered from it, but it lets us limit requests from one device.
Why
To answer your question, discuss your project and pick the conversation back up if you return. We don't sell your data, share it for advertising or send newsletters.
Where it is stored
Requests and chat messages are stored in our control panel on our own servers. So that we don't miss anything, a short notification about each new request is sent to our team on Telegram.
What is stored in your browser
We don't use advertising or analytics cookies. Your browser's storage (localStorage) holds only:
- the key of your chat conversation, so it survives a page reload;
- a note that the chat hint has already been shown.
How long we keep it
For as long as we're talking or working on your project. If you ask us to delete a conversation or request, we will.
Your rights
You can ask what data we hold about you, have it corrected or ask for it to be deleted. Email hello@web-area.dev and we'll take care of it.
Changes
If we change this policy, the new version will appear on this page with a new update date.
